About the FirmThe Law Offices of Sean Lewis, PLLC, Immigration and Citizenship Attorneys, is solely dedicated to the private practice of Immigration and Nationality Law. Because the practice of Immigration Law is international in scope, we may associate with local attorneys in all cities in the United States and at all U.S. Consulates throughout the World. Our main office is located in Nashville, Tennessee and we have clients located throughout the world. We also have a vast network of immigration attorneys available to us. Since U.S. Immigration Law is federal in nature (there is no involvement with state law), the attorneys are authorized to appear before any immigration court, as well as at USCIS interviews and consular interviews. Notwithstanding the federal administrative nature of our practice, we may associate with lawyers in other jurisdictions where a matter of that state’s law is involved. For example, definition of an employer-employee relationship or family relationships would require local counsel. In that rare event, our clients will be advised of the need for such an association. This in no way implies that we are authorized to practice law in any other state than listed in the attorney profiles, nor does it imply that we have an on-going and regular presence in states other than those the attorneys are authorized to practice.
